Notes on modes of communication
Each clan roars, and has its own mode of polyphonic communication, different from the others in terms of loudness and tonality. It is remarkable to note that each adult individual is capable of emitting a whole polyphony on its own, albeit more or less harmonious, but which reminds our senses of the beauty of the shepherds' choirs of the giant monitor lizards of Mount Tibecius.
Pets , livestock and preys
Many clan members seem prone to sensibility, as they love to adopt and cuddle small amphibious pets, such as frogs, octopuses, lizards, salamanders etc…
Some tribes have developed the ability to raise animals in order to maintain a stock of food. The book will focus on the pink hippocampus raised by the pastoralists of the great barrier.
All 7 clans, very surprisingly, are still carnivorous. This probably explains why most of them retain the archaic trait of having a distinct 4th tooth, a trait we know to be common in many meat-eating fossils species discovered by our paleontologists. . .
The 7 tribes all feed mainly on the same preys, white sand fish when they grow up, but each will add its own exclusive food ( frogs, copepod crustaceans, white sand worms…) These prey items are essential to the tribe’s particular metabolism and cannot be replaced by other pastures. In the past, having one's prey stock stolen, led to the extinction of the tribe, because our entire universe was subject to the principle of sub-coevolution.
